Ann HallmarkAnn Hallmark | LCF Law | Family Law Solicitor | Ilkley

Ann is an Associate Family Solicitor, based in the Ilkley office.

She has been qualified for over 20 years , having been `won over’ to the profession in the 90’s, when she was tempted at Clifford Chance in London, where she subsequently spent many happy years working full time in commercial property, whilst studying law by distance learning.

Ann is an advanced member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel with specialisms in matrimonial finances, and private law children matters.

She deals with all aspects of private family law including divorce, matrimonial finances, children matters, co-habitee disputes, pre and post-nuptual agreements, separation agreements etc.

Ann’s niche specialism is in dealing with farming divorces and matrimonial settlements and has regularly been instructed in these matters.

Her advice often goes hand in hand with succession planning of farming businesses, as farming parents become more aware of the need to consider the risk of family assets passing outside of the family upon divorce. The risk can be minimised or avoided if advice is sought soon enough.

She also regularly deal’s with the divorces of business owners, including a number of high net worth clients.

Ann’s approach is to discuss options with her  clients, listen carefully to what they want to achieve and deliver honest straightforward advice.

She is very aware of the emotional turmoil that clients are often facing at what can be one of the most stressful times of their lives. Ann’s empathic but highly practical approach encompasses  the wider picture when advising her clients.

She encourage’s mediation where possible but will not shy away from litigation where necessary.

Contact Ann today, she is happy to have a no obligation chat to discuss your case and the options available to you going forward.
