Two days until Elvis makes an appearance in Ilkley

The Ilkley Half Marathon is now fast approaching so yesterday I was on, what I am reliably informed, my tapering run in final preparation. I was wearing my 'Fat Lad at the Back' top and I recalled when I was wearing it on the Epilepsy Action 10k in Bradford earlier this year. One of my fellow runners commented:

"Well you're not at the back and you're not that fat!!"

… I took it as a compliment!

We set out raise £3,000 for the Burley Tereli Friendship Trust ("BTFT") and I'm absolutely thrilled to report we've nearly reached our target for this fantastic charity. Thank you for your support - Team BTFT fundraising page.

Note to self: press suit tomorrow for the race and clean blue suede shoes!
