Neil Shaw fundraises for local charity – The Ilkley Half Marathon

The Charity I am supporting is a really great cause.Details can be found at Burley Tereli Friendship Trust ("BTFT")

Whilst this is a relatively small Charity it has already made a huge difference.Providing funds to build a school, dig water wells and its current project to help develop Cancer Care in Tereli and Mali.This is currently non-existent.

Training update:

• I've just about recovered from Eccup's 10 mile run. I didn't realise I was doing the run until I took my daughter India to the start. She asked if there were any free places and there were, so I did it. It probably would have been better not to have had a couple of pints of San Miguel and a glass or 2 of red wine at my friend Richard Hopwood's 60^th Birthday but still made it!
• I managed a short run on the weekend and ran past the excellent Wheatley Arms in Ben Rhydding (without calling in) #Wheatley Arms
• Brisk walk on Tuesday evening to the Ings Pub, Guiseley, for the legendary Ings Quiz! Enjoyed a couple of excellent pints of Landlord and some intellectual stimulation.
