Nick has spent 26 years working in professional services, building deep expertise in marketing and business development across corporate finance, accountancy and the legal sector. As BD & Marketing Director at LCF Law, he leads the firm's strategic business plan across its full breadth from brand and thought leadership through to client relationships and new business growth.
His focus sits across four areas: developing colleagues to be their best, communicating the firm's offering to the market through innovative content and events, deepening client relationships and driving new work. On any given day, that might mean working with his team on the firm's next thought leadership piece, coaching partners on their business development.

His work encompasses:
- Developing and strengthening the firm's brand in the marketplace
- Supporting growth across key markets and sectors
- Working with fee earners to build their capability and ensure clients receive the right solutions
- Designing and delivering bespoke BD learning and development programmes across the firm
- Understanding what drives client satisfaction and finding ways to consistently exceed expectations
- Driving process improvements that make life easier for both clients and colleagues
- Evidencing return on investment through data, analytics and KPIs
- Supporting bids and tenders across the firm's service streams
