Employment Rights Bill: what we know and what we don’t
Inspiring the next generation of lawyers
A huge well done to student Hasher Safdar, who impressed our personal law team so much during his placement we've decided to hang onto him!
During his four-week placement (originally set for two), Hasher adapted extremely well to the hands-on nature of the work assigned to him, and his attention to detail and efficiency together with his professional and personable demeanour have quickly made him an asset to the team.
As he enters into his third year as an international student at the University of Bradford, Hasher will continue to work part-time at LCF Law on a flexible basis so that he can effectively balance his studies with the needs of the business.
Amjed Zaman, a partner in LCF Law’s personal law team who works closely with the University of Bradford to help open up the route into careers into the legal sector, said: “Hasher tackles issues and challenges with a positive, can-do attitude. Because of this, I have no doubt that he can accomplish anything he puts his mind to. An attitude like that can change the world.
“We're excited to see Hasher grow in his legal career and for his journey to continue as a part of LCF Law. Well done Hasher! You are a credit to the University of Bradford’s School of Law!”
Hasher Safdar said: “My time at LCF Law so far has been nothing short of extraordinary, far surpassing any expectations I had. From the very first day, I felt embraced by a team that was not only welcoming but genuinely caring and supportive.
“This opportunity has opened my eyes to the legal world in ways I could never have imagined, and I’ve already grown so much, both professionally and personally. I am deeply grateful for the encouragement, trust and unwavering support the team has shown me so far and I’m excited to continue my journey with LCF.”
LCF Law works closely with the University of Bradford’s School of Law by awarding the highest-grading second year student in Contract Law and Equity & Trusts with a monetary prize. Students are offered practice interviews and a placement scheme. Amjed speaks at lectures as part of the university’s Law of Succession module, takes part in the Careers Booster Week workshop and attends careers fairs along with other members of the firm’s personal law and HR teams.
