LCF Law's family law team is hosting a series of seminars for professional advisers and intermediaries across Yorkshire.

The firm will be updating professionals on how their clients' can best protect their assets in the event of a relationship breakdown.

Partner, Rachel Spencer Robb, who is the Head of Family Law, says: "Divorce and separation is on the rise, and with the first significant change to UK divorce law in nearly 50 years being recently announced, the new legislation will mean that couples will no longer have to prove fault to get divorced.

"Our breakfast seminar series will provide essential information that will help advisers to add value and insight to the advice they give to their clients, enabling those clients' to protect their assets in the event of a relationship breakdown.

"We will cover everything from living together agreements to prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

With discussions about money invested from the 'bank of Mum and Dad' and how that is dealt with in divorce. The seminars will be led by Rachel, Harjit Rait and Ann Hallmark, all of whom are experts in the field of family law."
