Ragan Montgomery gains recognition in international law guide
Disputes Partner Ragan Montgomery has been included in a coveted guide for the international private wealth market. It's the first time that Ragan a partner from our dispute resolution department, has been included in the directory.
The fourth edition of Chambers High Net Worth Guide (HNW), published by Chambers and Partners, is a guide of top professional legal advisers to HNW individuals. The guide also recommends leading accountancy firms, private banks, wealth managers, trust companies and other professional advisers to HNW individuals in more than 50 countries around the world. The objective guide is circulated internationally and inclusions are based on in-depth analysis by a team of experienced researchers.
Ragan (pictured) was chosen to feature in the private wealth disputes North East & Yorkshire section of the guide. It describes Ragan, who tackles disputes concerning wills, trusts and inheritance, and also represents clients in property litigation, as 'an excellent solicitor who is very sensible and down to earth.' An interviewee said: "I'd happily refer to her, I really rate Ragan, she's a really good litigator and just really nice to deal with."
Ragan, who is based in Bradford and operates across the UK, also holds membership of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) - something only a handful of legal professionals have achieved in the North of England. She has 20 years' experience specialising in property, landlord and tenant disputes, and wills, trusts and inheritance disputes. She is also a recommended lawyer in the Legal 500 Guide, an Affiliate Member of STEP Contentious Trusts and Estates Special Interest Groups, is recognised by the Leasehold Advisory Service and a qualified Civil and Commercial Mediator - accredited by the ADR Group.
Ragan said: "It's rewarding to see my extensive experience in this difficult area of the law recognised by Chamber HNW. Some of my clients are HNWs, but I also work with a wide range of people and businesses helping them to solve all types of complex problems."
Simon Stell, Managing Partner at LCF Law, says: "Ragan's experience and ability to quickly identify and get to grips with a problem, and suggest the best way to achieve a successful outcome, make her very popular with clients, her colleagues and everyone she deals with."
