Natalie Nattress has worked in insolvency in Leeds for more than 22 years and joined LCF Law from Knights plc in 2023.

Natalie engages on behalf of insolvency practitioners to recover all types of assets for the benefit of creditors, and on behalf of individuals and families to resist or reduce the claims of office holders following an insolvency event.

She specialises in contentious insolvencies and the determination and settlement of deceased insolvent estates, especially in relation to the unexpected deaths of high net worth individuals.

Natalie enjoys the challenge of the investigation and being able to secure a tangible benefit for creditors.

Matters Natalie has recently worked on:

  • Settlement of bankruptcy estate and recovery of assets from a high net worth individual with dual jurisdiction in the UK and Egypt and significant assets realisation in excess of £1,000,000.
  • Settlement of connected bankruptcy estates of high net worth individuals affected by the Irish financial crash. This involved the recovery of assets in both jurisdictions and collaboration with numerous statutory bodies such as the National Asset Management Agency (NAMA).

Natalie is a member of the Insolvency Lawyers Association and R3, the trade association for the UK's insolvency and restructuring professionals.

In her free time she enjoys doing yoga, pilates and dog walking.
